One of our recent more substantial projects was a 60x240x18 steel agricultural storage building in Tennessee. The generous dimensions of this pre-engineered steel ag storage facility, with a width of 60 feet, a length of 240 feet, and an 18-foot eave height, make it an ideal space for accommodating the storage needs of an agricultural operation. The vast, clear-span interior offers 14,400 square feet of usable space and extra vertical clearance for storage. The large building allows for the storage of equipment, produce, and supplies, helping agricultural businesses streamline their operations.
Custom Features
An advantage of our prefab steel buildings is that they are fully customizable. For this 60x240x18 steel ag building, our customer chose a Charcoal Gray finish with White trim.
The facility also has several customizations that enhance its functionality, such as:
- (2) 24′ Open Inset Bays on the Left Gable End: Offering versatile entry and storage options.
- 18″ Overhang on all four walls: Providing additional protection from the elements.

This 60x240x18 steel agricultural storage facility is manufactured according to the International Building Code (IBC) 2018. It is engineered to withstand a snow load rating of 10 pounds per square foot (psf), ensuring its ability to handle snow accumulation without compromise. It is also designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, providing peace of mind during severe weather events that are common in Tennessee.
