90x180x16 Metal Riding Arena in Tennessee
A popular use for our prefab metal buildings is covered riding arenas. Our durable outdoor covered riding arenas provide reliable shelter and riding space for riders and their horses while allowing for plenty of natural light and fresh air in the arena.
Our customer in Tennessee desired a 90x180x16 metal riding arena with beautiful Harbor Blue walls and clean Arctic White trim that matches the fence posts on the building’s perimeter. We engineered this riding arena using a clear-span design, allowing equestrian maneuvers to take place freely in and around the structure. Riders can perform a variety of disciplines ranging from dressage and solo riding to team roping without having to worry about obstructions.
Even though there are no support columns or trusses necessary, heavy-duty I-beams keep this large metal riding arena sturdy and structurally sound.
Tennessee Prefab Metal Riding Arenas With Vertical Clearance and Bright Lighting
Metal buildings make great riding arenas because they are long-lasting, low maintenance, and incredibly strong. However, they can also be customized to meet each customer’s riding needs.
This customer needed plenty of vertical clearance to allow for jumping and roping maneuvers, which is why it was designed with a 16’ eave height. Bright lights were also added inside so the arena can be used at night for practice, shows, maintenance, and more.
Covered Riding Arenas in Compliance With Tennessee Building Codes
Each of our metal riding arenas is engineered to comply with state and local building codes. This covered riding arena in Tennessee is designed to meet IBC-2015 building codes, so it has a 10 lb PSF snow rating and can withstand up to 115 MPH winds. Like the rest of our buildings, this one came stamped and sealed with engineered blueprints from a licensed engineer in the state.
