34x76x14 Metal Pickleball Court Building in Kansas
Pickleball, a popular sport that combines tennis, ping-pong, and badminton, is the fastest-growing sport in America. While pickleball is often played outside, outdoor pickleball courts aren’t protected from extreme temperatures, rainy days, and other forms of inclement weather. Pickleball enthusiasts need a place to play year-round, regardless of the weather. As a result, pickleballers across the U.S. are using prefab metal buildings for their indoor pickleball courts.
Prefab metal buildings make the perfect indoor pickleball courts because they provide a durable, reliable structure with a clear-span design, allowing the customer to arrange their courts to their desire. Pre-engineered metal buildings can also be erected in a matter of days, allowing customers to start playing as soon as possible.
Custom Metal Buildings for Indoor Pickleball Courts
We provided our customer in Kansas with a 34x76x14 metal building with a 4/12 pitch so they could have their own single indoor pickleball court at their residence. The customer chose Charcoal Gray walls and Ash Gray trim for the exterior.
The building framing is engineered using tapered I-beams that provide for a strong, trusty framework and eliminate the need for interior supports and trusses. This allows the customer to use all 2,584 square feet for pickleball.
Metal buildings are extremely versatile, so pickleballers can design the interior to their liking, add insulation and ventilation, and install whichever court surface they desire.
Prefab Metal Buildings Engineered According to Local Building Codes
All of our prefab metal buildings are engineered according to local building codes and come stamped and sealed with engineering blueprints from a licensed engineer in your state. This metal building that is used as a pickleball court in Kansas was engineered according to IBC-18, which calls for a 20 lb PSF snow load and the ability to withstand 110 MPH winds.
